Import multiple events in calendar from ical file

Hi,

I've been looking around on internet an answer to this question, but
couldn't find.

Basically I'm sending an emailing out promoting a series of events. I want
people to click on a link in this email which will import the ical straight
into THEIR calendar (in opposition to importing it as a "other calendar").

Is that possible? I've been trying to do it for hours without success.
