I have switched from MSN Dial-up to cable broadband as my provider. How can
I copy my Favorites (bookmarks) from MSN9 to IE6?
I suspect it's not so much a matter of the ISP change, but the change
from the msn Explorer browser to Internet Explorer browser.
When I closed my dialup account I was still able to use my msn user name
and password in Internet Explorer for access to things like my @msn mail
address, msn groups, My msnpages and the Live.com web portal. Apparently
msn thinks my continued access aids in their advertising revenue. I
don't know if your msn Explorer favorites will show in your Live.com or
My msn favorites.
You might also want to inquire in the microsoft.msn.discussion and
microsoft.public.dialup groups where there might be more readers able to
answer your inquiry. To access those groups use the list in the left
pane of your browser window in a manner similar to the way you would use
the folder lists in the left pane of Windows Explorer. You may want to
explain that you were referred to those groups as a result of an earlier
inquiry in another group.
