Import MPEG

I'm trying to import an 844kb MPEG into my site and it though it appears to
be loading it never does. I tried something even smaller and still no luck.
I'm on DSL, how long could it possibly take to import one file?
 
Please describe in detail *how* you are trying to import.
Also, to your local web or remote web?

Tom, thank you for your response. I was importing to the remote web using
the "Import" function, but as it turns out there was a problem with the FP
Server Extensions on the server. Thank you again.
