Import mp3 problems

I am using FP 2000. I am creating a simple resume with two pages and a single
theme. Most of it is very straightforward, however I work in audio and I am
importing a lot of mp3s. I can "add" or drag and drop many of them but not
others.

I have changed names of files in case blank spaces was a problem, but to no
avail. There is on 2 MB file in particular where I get "An error accessing
your FP Webfiles.....this is not on a server environment and no amount of
re-editing or name changing of the file seems to make a difference. Is there
a limit on the number of files I can add or the total size of files in a
folder?

thanks

The files need to be 1 MB or less in size.

what is the purpose behind the audio files? for site visitor to listen
to? or to download?~~?
there are other options depending on the purpose - and other options
other than MP3, eg: WMA for one,
or - flash streaming for another(listening to).
