Thanks for taking the time to read my question.
For some reason, by DB messed up and I coudn't copy or paste any records.
For some reason the DB thought it was read only, even though it was not. I
had split my DB into front and back ends, So I exported all the tables each
to their own Excel file, then created a blank DB and imported all the data.
Now it works fine..... except now my AutoNumber is gone. I would like to use
the field that used to be the AutoNumber because I have linked tables 1 to
many where that number is key. If I make a new AutoNumber, I'll lose the
data that is the same in both tables.
How do I fix this? I tried making the field that is set to Number with
Indexed = Yes No Duplicates to AutoNumber, but Access won't let me.
Thanks again,
Brad
