I bought a new pc with vista, previosly I was on XP with outlook XP. I would
like to transfer all my mail, contacts and calendar entries from the old XP
machine to the new Vista machine - but on the new machine I intend to use
Microsoft Mail (Contacts, etc). Microsoft mail seems unable to read from pst
files - can you suggest a solution? Thanks!

I think you'd need to export them from Outlook to a CSV file since the Vista
apps can read directly from a PST.

Do you have the old machine still? If so, open OE and import your Outlook
data to that. Then have a look here http://www.oehelp.com/backup.aspx on how
to import OE mail to Windows Mail...
