Import from Excel is corrupting data

I am importing data from Excel to a Access table. The data field Account No.
is not correct once the table is built. Example 153910068938 in Excel becomes
1.5391006894e+011 when it is imported to the Access Table. Here is another
example 163800471969 in Excel becomes 1.6380047197e+011. The +011 is most
likely to the eleven power.

This only happens when the Account No. is 11 positions or more, 10 and under
work fine. An Account with 10 or less positions works fine 823181292 in Excel
becomes 823181292 and 1000602217 in Excel becomes 1000602217, these are ok.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What type field are you importing these numbers into? If they're not
meant for doing arithmetic operations on, but are merely identifiers,
just store them as text.
