Is there a newsgroup for IE7? I tried to import my old favorites (from IE7
beta in XP) and it wants to import "bookmark" files -- ie., each favorite,
individually, one by one -- rather than favorites as a group. Is there
something I am missing?

Hi Edison,

The default name of an exported favorites file is bookmark.htm, so when you
try to import favorites, this is the file it looks for. If you exported
favorites on another machine using a different file name, simply use the
browse option and grab the file you exported, regardless of name.

If you are just getting favorites from another user account on the same
system, you don't need to import them. Just copy them into your user
profile's favorites folder.

Just copy the files in your IE7 beta to the favorites folder you want them
in. Works within XP or from XP to Vista
