import export issue

Had to reinstall OS & all apps. Before that did export my business contact
manager file to another hard drive, followed the prompts & exported to
Business Contact NOT .csv. Tried to import the file & do not have the file
format options. Tried all the .bcm options no go, why can't i import this
msbcm export with history? I have a complete system backup just in case, but
it will not restore, corrupt files or something? BUT that's another issue. I
really need to know how to import that msbcm file that I exported. the
wizard is not the answer, any thoughts...? thank you,
 
Hi Theresa

Is the file a .BCM file or a .MSBCM file?
If it is a .BCM file, you can go to file > Import/Export > Business Contact
Manager and import it
If it is a .msbcm file, then that is a Database Backup File

You will need to go to Business Tools > Manage Database and restore it
(***Note When you restore a Database it will overwrite any data that you
have added to the new Database)
