Import Excel File

How can I import AND link an Excel file into a cell in FP
2003?

I have tried: Insert>
File> (All Files)
Select a .XLS file
Open

I get an error message every time I try to import the
file this way. Even reboot does not help.

Any ideas?

You can't, you have 3 options, import the file into your current open web,
then create link to it or you can create a database connection to a sheet,
then display the content within a cell or you can copy a range and paste
into your page.
