Hi all,
I've an existing Access 2000 program that running on Windows XP + Office
2003. All functions are running well, same as in Windows 2000 + Office 2000,
except function to Import Excel file (where HasFieldNames set to FALSE).
In Windows / Office 2000, the import function is able to import column with
General & Date/Time formats (as Text in Access table). e.g. cell D2 is
General, D3 is Date/Time and both of them were blank.
However, in Windows XP / Office 2003, Access prompts "... Access was unable
to append all the data to the table. ... record(s) were deleted ...".
In other posts, it may be the difference of format conversion between Office
2000 & 2003. And I'd like to know if there's solutions other than type a
dummy string, e.g. " " (space) in the Excel file.
