I have an organization specific database that returns the following results:
Name of a particular location (eg. John's garage, Mike's garage, etc) as
well as the specific and unique number of each location (eg. 0001, 0002,
etc).
This output is then dumped out to Excel.
What I would like to do is then take this excel dump and import it into my
current Access database as a table.
However, I would also like to update the Access table if any information in
the organization's database changes (eg. new locations are added, location
numbers are changed, etc.)
Can anyone help me with the best/simplest way to acconmplish this?
I'm assuming I would have to continue to perform a dump of the info into
excel, but when I import this new excel data into Access would it update the
existing table?
Thanks.
