Had to replace my hard drive. I saved a folder called
D:\Mail
Files\{404D7624-F841-11D7-8916-444553540000}\Microsoft\Outlook
Express and the folder contained what I thought was all of
my email folders(inbox, sent items, deleted items, etc.)
These files all have .dbx extension.
I also saved a file named addr.wab which I thought was my
address book.
When I try to import the mail files into Outlook Express it
tells me there are no mail files in the folder, or another
application is using the files.
When I try to import the addr.wab file, it tells me it does
not appear to be an address book file.
I tried changing(rename file) the .dbx extension to .pst to
see if that would work, but it won't let me change the
extension.
Any suggestions on how I can get these files into Outlook
Express?
Thanks, Stan
