import delimited .txt files

How do i import a delimited .txt file and use the pipe
character "|" as the delimiter?.
 
Use the Import Wizard, choose delimited, select "Other" as the delimiter,
then select the pipe character, which is the key above the <Enter> key
(shift required).
If you run the import through a macro you will want to go into the advanced
option of the wizard, save the specification, and then use that
specification when running the macro.
