how can i import contacts from outlook 2003?

Why can't i add a second hotmail email account (i've two hotmails but only
one hotmail aaccount is accepted as an email account in the beta version).
The second account gives a fault code that the folders could'nt be loaded

I'm assuming that you are referring to Windows Live Mail Desktop beta.
You can't import contacts. The contacts in WLMD are the contacts from Windows
Live Messenger.
Each Hotmail account needs to be accepted to the beta to be used in WLMD, so
sign the second account up and it may work. That may not work, though, as
multiple Hotmail Accounts is a problem for some, myself included, in the most
recent builds of the beta.

I think if you export your Outlook contacts to a CSV file you'll be able to
import them in your Vista Contacts folder.

That would be for Vista Mail. I know, it is miserably confusing that we also use
this newsgroup for a wholly unrelated program called Windows Live Mail Desktop,
currently in beta.

What makes you think that Patrick is not referring to the Vista Contacts?

Because Patrick includes this text: "Why can't i add a second hotmail email
account (i've two hotmails but only one hotmail aaccount is accepted as an email
account in the beta version)." Since Hotmail accounts are not supported in Vista
Mail, and Windows Live Mail Desktop has this problem, it is a valid assumption.
Add to the above that contacts cannot be imported into WLMD. I know, assumptions
are bad.
