I use both Outlook and Excel 2002. I am attempting to
import a list of contacts from Excel into Outlook. In
doing so, I get an error telling me to name the range of
data in Excel as Outlook can't find any named ranges. I
follow all the instructions from Excel's help in creating
a named range only for that named range to disappear as
soon as I select the next column to name. I have even gone
as far as exporting from Outlook to Excel, clearing
contents of the data in the exported file, pasting the new
data in the relevant columns and attempting to import it
then. I get the same result. Create named ranges! (My O/S
is XP Pro).
