We have single domain with Windows 2000 server SP4 and Exchange 2003 - R2
and SQL 2000 with SP3a with SP4 on all servers as a O/S windows 2000
standard server.

I would like to change the time on all the servers so that all servers have
standard time. Let me know how can I do that. I would prefer to have some
manual method by manually changing it on the server or thorugh logon.at file.
Does any one know what are the implications of this? Do we need to restart
all the servers to make this effective? What about issues with Exchange or
for database server which is working on time stamps?

Let me know.

If I do not setup the time server and all the registry settings for a now and
If I manually change the time on the domain controller, do see any issue with
the exchange server or any other servers? We have net time reset command
defined in the administrator login batch file which can eventually reset the
timings on all the servers.

Let me know if any known issues to fix the things ASAP.

Rajesh

What you propose to do is not the recommended way of setting up time service
in a domain or synchronizing time in a domain. This is the recommended way:
