hi
I created a gpo that sets restricted groups within the local pc
administrators group, i created this gpo on my xp pc, the gpo was rolled out
to a w2k client and all worked fine, all the users and groups from AD were
placed in the local administrators group. Problem is I now amend the list
of users and groups in the gpo restricted group but it doesn't filter down
to the pc, it keeps the original set of users and groups i set in restricted
group.
I tried disabling computer configuration, deleting gpo, but still the
original list remains.
I have tried creating the gpo from a 2000 pc and still the original list of
users and groups remain.
has creating the gpo on xp and rolling it out to 2000 pc's caused a problem,
if not, how can i revert back to the original local group membership before
i changed restricted groups. Or how can i change the restricted groups.
i hope this makes sense, I'm starting to confuse myself now
