Goodafternoon,
I am facing a problem concerning a formula in excel.
I am making a sheet for the company i work for and it is about duty and flight limitations.
There is a period of the day called Wind of circadian low(WOCL). It is from 2 to 6 am.
The limitations are:
If the duty ends inside the WOCL we must subtract 50% of the time inside that period.
For example if a flight begins at 22:00 at night and ends at 4:00am in the morning, the
duty yime is 5 hours instead of 6, because we subtracted 50%(1 hour) of the time within WOCL.
Now, if the duty starts within hours of the WOCL, we must subtract 100% of the time spent in
the WOCL, up to a maximum of two hours.
For example a flight starts at 2:30am and ends at 6:30am, the duty time is 2 hours. (2:30 to 4:30 ignored 100%)
Example no.2: A flight starts at 4:30am and ends at 8:00am, the duty time is 2 hours. (4:30 to 6:00 ignored 100%)
please send me any help.
Thanks in advance,
Bisdikis George
