Hi, how are you? I have an annoying problem....
Everytime I start/try to play 3D games online like vmk or any other, I get
an error message within a minute or two after the game loads which says:
violation in module IML32.dll. After that message everything just freezes and
shuts off on its own, and the error is being sent to support. I have no idea
what to do. Please help me, how can I fix the iml32.dll? Thank you for your
time!

I don't know what 'vmk' is ... ah, 'Virtual Magic Kingdom'. This game is
dependent on a working Shockwave-plugin in the Web-browser you are using.
And yes, a file named [IML32.dll] is installed by many versions of
'Shockwave'|'Shockwave Director'|'Shockwave Player'. Try uninstalling and
reinstalling this.

Shockwave Player (Web-browser plug-in):
<http://www.adobe.com/products/shockwaveplayer/>

Maybe try the 'Shockwave Player Uninstaller' in-between if the
uninstall-process by itself is to crappy to cleanup properly after itself:
<http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=SWUninstall>

Else, Shockwave Player Support Center:
<http://www.adobe.com/support/shockwave/>

Thank you for such a fast responce. I did reinstall and then install the
Shockwave and even the Flash Player, it gave me probably 3 extra minutes in
the game and then I got the IML32.dll error again. Do you have any other
suggestions? I appreciate all your time and welcome any suggestions!

Thank you again!!!

I'm not sure it will help or make any difference, but i would try running
another Web-browser that can handle 'Shockwave' content.

So if you for some reason are using 'Internet Explorer' currently, try
Shockwave under the 'Firefox' and_or the 'Opera' web-browsers.
Firefox : <http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/>
Opera : <http://www.opera.com/download/>

Download the 'full installer for Netscape' from:
<http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/alternates/#sp>
For Firefox, just installing should work.
For Opera, see instructions here:

Thank you for your help!
I downloaded the Firefox and new Shockwave it let me play for about 5
minutes and I got the same error. I gave a last shot and turned off all the
sound effects in the game and that did the trick. I was finally playing the
game for about an hour today. Is it possible that there is something wrong
with my media drive? the sound system?

Thank you for all your time and all your help!!!

Hi Solomia,

Check for a newer driver for your sound card,
and if one is available, install it and then step up
your audio settings a little at a time to find the
sweet spot for your system's audio performance.

Great that you found something to change that made a difference so that
you can run the game, while not so great that that /fix/ means you
perhaps will miss some 'effects'. I have no idea about possible causes
so have no other suggestions then to follow Jimmy's advice. Have fun
with uncle Walt. :-)

Thank you both for all your help!!! I really appreciate all of your time!!!
I will try updating my audio drive today and see if I will have any luck.
Thank you again!

Have a wonderful weekend!
