actually, something like a security check list, i'm running iis and smtp
would like to find out what ports the server listens on
and other 2k links

IIS by default runs on 80, SMTP on 25. You can run netstat -an to find out
what ports are open and listening on your system. As for the security check
list, I can offer you a small one:
Antivirus
Firewall
Security Updates

Other Win2k links? Google is key ;-)

got antivirus, and think all updates, at least using ms analyze, so now to
work on firewall
