Is there a way to imbed a font into a database so that not everyone who has
the font will be able to view the database correctly? If not, is there a
way to change the default font that access uses?

Did you check the Options for Access?

Go to Tools | Options | Datasheet | Default Font

Whether or not this will solve your issue, I don't know, but did
you attempt this solution yet?

You can change the default font for new objects in a database by changing
the template it uses (Tools ... Options ... Forms/Reports ... FormTemplate)
Other than that, you can install a font by copying it to their Fonts folder.
You cannot force a font if the user has design permissions. By making an
MDE, you take away those design permissions and the font will stay the way
you designed it as long as it is on that machine.
