Hi Rob,
Your method works indeed. I did it a bit different.
1) First created the account
2) Closes Outlook
3) Moved the PST-file
4) Control Panel-> Mail-> Outlood Data Files...
5) Selected the PST-file for the IMAP/Hotmail account and pressed Settings
6) After the error messages I got I browsed to the new location
7) Started Outlook
With a POP3 account you'll get prompted for the new location when you first
restart Outlook. With an IMAP or HTTP account it simply creates a new file.
Folders stored in a Roaming Profile;
-Application Data
-Cookies
-Desktop
-Favorites
-My Recent Documents
-Nethood
-Printhood
-Send To
-Start Menu
-Templates
-UserData
The default location for a pst-file is C:\Documents and
Settings\%username%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook
