I'm running OP2002 and Exchange 2000. I access my own
mail folders right off the Exchange server. But I had an
employee leave and I needed to move his mail data from
his old email to mine. So I went to the Control Panel,
then Mail, and added an IMAP account.
Opened Outlook, moved stuff from his account to mine, and
closed Outlook. Went back to the Mail control panel and
removed the IMAP account.
However, the folder for the IMAP account is still showing
in my folders view, and I can't click it to make it go
away. I tried re-adding the account again, and can't open
it. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling Office and
it didn't go away. Also tried repairing Office and still
won't go away.
When I try to close it, I get "operation failed, an
object is missing" and when I try to double click it, I
get "Unable to expand the folder".
This is annoying the heck out of me. Any ideas how I can
get it to go away without doing a full Windows reinstall?
