I have an IMAP account on my home computer, but it is not showing in the Personal folders view pane. My computer makes a noise when messages are received, so I know that I'm receiveing mail, but I don't know how to get to it. Can anybody help me view these messages? Thanks!

Yes it's an earlier version, Outlook 98 (I think). And I think I'm using the view folder function. When I'm using OUtlook, there is the message pane (displaying all the messages old and new in Inbox), the preview pane, and along the left side is where I can choose which folder I want to use. If the left side is not what you're talking about, what is the folder list?

Many people use the Outlook Bar with buttons linked to the folders and
sometimes some of the folders aren't on it and they need to use the Folder
list to find the missing folders. IMAP accounts add a second personal folder
to the profile - you'll have the Outlook Today set of folders with the
calendar and other special folders and the IMAP set of mail folders, showing
all of the folders you are subscribed to.

Do you see both sets of personal folder files in the folder list?
