I have Front page 2002 running on Windows 2000.
When I first import image to Front page from hard disk it
work fine, but when I make some change to my image using
my image editer and save it to hard disk with same name
and import back to front page, same old image show up. Do
any one know how to fix this problem.

Hiro... your problem is a weird, but extremely common glitch in Frontpage.
You can feel free to resave that image with the same name; in essence
overwriting from your image editor, just like you have been doing. And you are
exactly right, 90% of the time, you'll think the old image is back.

But you'll find that the old image is only in the Frontpage editor.... but the
instant you File > Preview in Browser or you actually publish that page, you'll
see the right (the new one) image is there afterall.
It's a screwy Frontpage cache thing, but you learn to live with it because you
know when you Preview In Browser or Publish that the right image will be there
for you.

In these cases, delete the current image that is in the web and them import
the new image under the same name. As long as the image dimensions are the
same, then there shouldn't be any problems.

Also with FP closed, search for and delete *.web cache files and empty the
FP Temp folder that is within the Windows Temp folder.

Thank you for your reply, but I have delete my image
before I import from hard disk but same old image show up,
only way that I can get new image is to save it under
different name and then import to front page but I can't
do this every time I make miner change to my images and I
do make some size change to my images. I have three
computer and all of this computer show same problem.
I have 2 computer running Window 98.

The delete the files I have indicated and see if that helps.

Have you tried re-booting to see if that clears this?

Ok. I can't think of anything else. I also run FP2000, but have only had
this problem a few times.

I have the same problem except I am running FrontPage '02 and Windows XP and
I have solved this issue.

What I do to fix this problem is this: After editing or making any changes
to an image, highlight (left click once) on the web's directory in FP's
folder view, then after highlighted hit the refresh button a few times at
the top right of FP. Make sure your image directory gets refreshed as well
if it isn't within FP.

Also, save and refresh any open html docs.

Does it still happen if you close the FP or the web and re-open it?
