Images used ending up on my desktop

When I build an image page ,all the images used end up on
my desktop.If I delete them off the desktop ,they are
gone from the page I create.
I am sure it is a preference I blew thru on setup,but I
cannot find it to remedy this issue. Need help

Does your Web page perhaps reside on your desktop?

Are you saving your pictures files in teh same folder as
your Web page?

If so, My Documents\MyWebs is a much better location.

You must always have a web open (File Menu | Open Web) and then import or
drag/drop all images, etc. into the current open FP web via FP prior to
linking or inserting on your page.
