I have inserted clip art bullets into my FP2k document but
when I ftp to my site, everything is fine except the
graphics, which are not there. All other graphics from
the other pages are there. What am I doing wrong?

The clip art/bullet is the first part of each word, the
words are each in a separate cell in a table.

Thanks in advance.

1. Did you save the images as GIF or JPG first?
2. Did you import the image into the current FP web?
3. How did you FTP, from within FP or a 3rd Party FTP application?
4. If 3rd Party, did you also upload the images?

Lucy,
Are those graphics actually showing up in the Folders View? And if so, are they
showing up in the list of files on the remote server? When you put graphics
into a page, be sure to save the page, and if necessary double-check that they
are really there in Folders View by doing a view refresh (F5)

Image saved as .gif (original file is a .gif and I made no
changes).

Using WS_FTP to upload.

A little more background: I downloaded this one page from
my website, then made some changes, inserted the clipart
using File, Insert, Clipart, then hit File, Save and got
the usual box "Save Embedded File, so I just hit OK.

Nothing shows up in the folders view, I am assuming
because I didn't save this as a web, I just saved the page
to my desktop. I do not have the complete web on my
computer, am just trying to modify a few pages.

I did not load the image up separately from the web page,
not sure I remember how to do that, that may be the
problem...thanks! I can't find the image; when I click on
the image from within FrontPage, the picture properties
just say "BD14870_1.GIF" with no directory/file
structure. I did a search on the computer and that file
is on the C: drive...

FP work best when you have a web open and not just a page. Pages do not
contain the images, just a link to the actual image, so they must be
uploaded separately as well.
