Images in HTML files are linked - file size is still big

I have created an HTML page where all files are linked to their URL on the Internet.
Now I want to send the page to a number of people.
The HTL page is 11k big but the mail is 255k "(contains 6 included files)"

How can I reduce the size of the mail that goes out

Deselect Format-> Send Pictures from the Internet
