If you are using one of the high speed
dialup connections like NetZero or AT&T
Worldnet Accelerator...that could be
causing the problem.

Maybe the following info will clarify:
=====
=====
How does NetZero HiSpeed work?

Data Compression and Image Optimization -
Before the text and graphics that make up
Web pages get sent to you over your phone
line, NetZero HiSpeed compresses them
using a proprietary technology. Less data
is sent so your surfing experience is that
much faster!
=====
=====
AT&T Worldnet Accelerator delivers text
and graphics more efficiently, using a
proprietary compression technology that
significantly reduces the size of Web pages
and page elements sent to your browser.

The technology compresses text and
graphics enabling users to load web pages
much more quickly than is traditionally
possible over an ordinary dial-up connection.

Are you using Internet Explorer? This happened to me when I was using
it, though a right-click did not correct it. Everything displayed fine
in Firefox 1.5.x, but in IE images were terrible. All the graphics on
the page were large and chunky, not just the photos. When I updated to
the version 7 beta and restarted IE, everything was fine. I still don't
know what caused it -- I didn't have any accessibility
features/magnifier on and didn't have it using any custom font sizes.
It's still a mystery.
