Images don't show

Hi there

I have user with PPT XP installed and for some reason some inserted images
will not show - they appear instead as a blank page with a red cross. These
images are all low-resolution jpegs, some of which came from a .pdf
document, some of which were in the presentation orginially and now don't
show.

Is there anything I can suggest to help her?
