I've tried switching browsers, and even ISPs, and still I have blurry images.
I have windows xp professional.

Hi rob :-)

Try the following and see if it helps:

Try clearing the IE cache. I.E./Tools/Options/General/Delete files (and
delete offline content.)

and...Update the video driver:

How To Update Video Driver

If you don't know the loacation of your Video driver, or how to find it:
Location for XP
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q314854
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/games/learnmore/updatingdrivers.mspx
or......
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q314854
Find the information on your video driver. Then go to the website for mfg.
of the video driver and look for the update to download and install. There
may also be a Update Driver button on the dialog box you can use to go
direct to the update download site.

also........

Try reducing hardware acceleration:
Right click on the Desktop on an open area,
Properties>Settings>Advanced>Troubleshoot
Move the slider back to the left a little and test to see if that helps.
Try it at increments until you get all the way to the left end to see if
that helps.

or...

If your ISP supplies some kind of Web accelerator try turning that off.
Earthlink, AOL,
Netzero, and a few others offer this feature, and you should be able to
disable this feature. Check the "Help" page of your ISP.

So what did you change that caused the blurriness? "Again" means they
were blurry, you fixed the problem, but sometime later the images went
blurry again because of a later change.

Right-click on the desktop and select Properties (or run the Display
applet in Control Panel), Settings tab, Advanced button. Under the
General tab, what do you have for DPI?

Do you have a CRT or LCD monitor? If an LCD, are you running it at its
*native* resolution, or are you trying to use a higher resolution?

96 DPI is the default. Do you have some example web pages where the
images look blurry? Are the images too large to display within the
browser window so they get resized (an advanced option for IE)?

I visited the nVidia site since I know that one. They have a Spiderman
picture on their home page. Is that blurry? If so, have you tried
right-clicking on it and used Save Target to download the .jpg file to
your hard drive and then double-clicked on the saved file to view it
outside the browser (i.e., in some other application that your browser)?

As to whether or not you have a CRT or LCD monitor, the difference
between them is huge. CRT are brighter, far heavier (due to the glass
tube), and much deeper (again because of the television-like tube).
LCDs are flat and you have to look at them within a narrow viewing
angle. What brand and model of monitor do you have (it should say on
the label)? If it is an LCD monitor, many only look sharp when you set
the screen resolution to be the same as the native resolution of the LCD
monitor (you'll need to look at the monitor's specs to know what is its
native resolution).

Oops, that should be right-click and use the Save Picture context menu
to download the image to a local file.

I already did. I tried the free Juno service, w/out any accelerator and
still blurry images.

If this does not work, try doing a repair of IE.
