Image with hole in it.

Is it possible to create an image in photoshop or illustrator and save it
with a hole cut in it and then to import the image into power point and have
the hole stay in tack so you can see through the hole to another image which
is positioned in the background. Everytime I have imported an image it turns
opaque and I cannot see through the hole.

Dear Viper,

You can do a couple of things:

1) While in Photoshop, save the image as a png (png will always give you
transparency
2) With the image you already have inserted into PowerPoint, use the Set
Transparent color tool found in the Picture tool bar and click on the hole.
It should become transparent. Note, that if there are any colors within the
image you are editing that are similar to the hole color, those too will
become transparent.
