I am looking for a program to view and convert .cph (Corel Print House)
images. My dad uses this and has reformated his PC and now can't find the
Corel Disk.

Both xview and infraview from pricelessware don't support these.

He has 300 photo's that I said I would be able to restore to his new PC.
Not thinking he was saving them in this .cph format that no one uses apart
from Corel. Not even Corel Graphics suite supports them as I use that at
work....

Any Ideas?

TIA

I'm afraid you will have to download a trail version from Coral
(http://www.coral.com)
and convert the picts within 30 days. Other questions about it (googled)
suggest the same approach (At least the suggestions that are legal)

That's a tough one. Is there any chance that it is only a slight
derivative of a more common format? Perhaps there is a hint to be found
in the first lines of the file, when viewed with a hex editor.

I once received a "proprietary" scanner file from a pass photograph of
mine, that on closer examination, showed that it was a simple JPEG with
a different file suffix.

I would have but Corel Print house is a disconinued product. I just have
to look out for a old version on some mags coverdisks and stay out of my
dads way for now...

Where's the download section at http://www.coral.com ?
I looked everywhere on the site and couldn't find anything!
;)

HI SC - One note of caution - Coral stuff is notorious for "stealing"
(almost) every (image related) association in sight and not restoring well
on uninstall. I would strongly suggest using Total Uninstall for installing
any "Trial" version in order to properly recover.
