Hi,

I have a problem with my IE 6.0. The browser displays all
the images a bit larger then their size, thus they are
all a bit blured, with ugly edges instead of nice, smooth
lines. This happens for all the images that are displayed
on any website, for the Microsoft logo as well for
example on the official page.
I installed now the Firefox Mozilla browser, and there
everything is fine, the images are smaller, just as they
should be.

Does anyone have an idea what this might come from? I
checked all the options from the Tools > Internet options
Advanced menu, but I could not find an answer...

Thanks,
Roland

I've found finally where the problem comes from.
Actually, it seems that IE 6.0 cannot display correctly
in 120 dpi resolution. I have a 1400x1050 resolution
laptop, and the normal 96 dpi settings make the letters
too small. So I've set the resolution to 120 dpi. The
majority of the applications can handle it well, but the
Explorer has problems with it. It automatically resizes
both text and images, and it provides a quite ugly
display.

It's a bit embarassing to have this bug in IE, IMHO.
