i use fpage 2003. i have a number of screen shots of images i edit in paint,
save as .bmp add text then upload. some of these images can be pretty large.
anybody using a dialup would be in trouble. ive seen other pages that
display a small image on the page until you click on it to get the full size
image. i think they are called thumbnails?
can they be created in fpage2003?

thanks

Yes, but an image editor such as Irfanview will do a better job, and will batch process
a folder full of images and create a thumbnail for each.

Additionally you can use IrfanView to change the image type to .jpg and then also resize / resample the image
to make the file size significantly smaller.

Example an 800 by 600 jpg can be reduced to 50kb or so.
