when i export a presentation from PPT to images, the height and widith of
the image is always fixed ?

i tried here and my images size is 720x540 ?
i guess that´s becouse this is the slide area size , correct ?

is there a way to change this size ?

thanks!

Yes there is you need to adjust the page size in page set-up. (file / page
set-up) If you increase this you will find the size of your exported images
increases also.

i need to know what´s the default size that ppt generates.

Hello Rodrigo,

PowerPoint doesn't provide the kind of control that you are looking for
when it comes to controlling the resolution at which slides are exported as
bitmaps. There are several workarounds such as proportionally making the
slide area larger (e.g. 40"x30" instead of 10"x7.5") since that doesn't
affect slide show at all and only marginally affects printing (since
PowerPoint will automatically scale down the size of the slide to fit if
slide area is larger than print area for selected printer and paper size).

If you (or anyone else reading this message) think that it is important to
have more control over the quality/resolution at which slides are exported
as bitmaps (without have to resort to workarounds, add-ins or VBA), don't
forget to send your feedback to Microsoft at:

As with all product suggestions, it's important that you not just state
your wish but also why it is important to you that your product suggestion
be implemented by Microsoft. Microsoft receives thousands of product
suggestions every day and we read each one but, in any given product
development cycle, there are only sufficient resources to address the ones
that are most important to our customers so take the extra time to state
your case as clearly and completely as possible.

IMPORTANT: Each submission should be a single suggestion (not a list of
suggestions)

Sorry Steve

What do you mean? Inches? Is that on your screen or on my 12 feet picture on
the wall?

Correct me if I´m wrong. Powerpoint generates whatever screensize your
computer is set to 1024*764 or 640*480 or other.

Pictures come in the resolution they are prepared.

If you mean the images that are displayed in slide show, yes. But I see the
point of confusion here. You *are* talking about that and I'm talking about
the size of images it creates when you save slides AS images.

As long as we each stay on our own side of that particular fence, we're both
right. Or I can come over there and agree with you ;-)
