I have to made a presentation for my mother (in Power Point 2000) that will
consist mostly of scaned images.
Now I vould like to know what size/resolutions and dpi number this images
have to be scaned to have a good pictures on the screen (size up to 2x2
meters), and to avoid "heavy" images?

Thank you in advance!

Assuming you're using a video/data projector and not 35mm slides or the like:

A) Screen size doesn't matter. What matters is the capability of your
projector. It's probably 1024 x 768 pixels. Set your computer's video display
to match that and make your images the same size for full-screen images.

B) DPI isn't useful in this situation. See A. ;-)
