I've been using Vista since 1/30/07 with very VERY few problems. Since
installation, I've had large (8GB) file in my Documents folder called
"Image.nrg. There's also a smaller (110MB) file called Image2.nrg in the
same folder. Do I need these files? When I installed Vista I had to do a
'clean' install, because I had XP Pro and wanted to install Vista Home
Premium. Vista created a set of very large "backup" files (my description).
After copying what I needed, I deleted these files. But still have these 2
*.nrg files sitting out there.

Can I get rid of them?

Hi Kevin
Not sure here but I think that file is created by Nero when burning an image
to disk.
Don't bet on this answer though.

Those are Nero Image files. If you can't open them with Nero to check what
they contain, you can try IsoBuster.

You're right, I forgot I created and burned a disk image before installing
Vista. Thank you very much (and to Synapse Syndrome, who gave me the same
reply). Luckily I didn't need the image, but I'm glad I had it.
