Why can't I see the messages I post in this newsgroup? I had one response,
but my post wasn't there and my comment on the responders post isn't there
either.

Probably your e mail address is in the blocked sender in options for non
wanted mail.

Two possibilities. First, Outlook Express/Mail outbound queue might be
stuck. Microsoft and ISPs have some bugs in their crap. ISPs are often now
rate limiting and exaserbates some Microsoft bugs. If you have this issue,
look in the Outbox. If you see the stuck messages, this is your issue. The
best way to recover is reboot your PC, open mail, send then when it fouls up
shut the PC off for 4 hours and repeat until the messages are clear.

Next one is Microsoft does filter on their end. If you post to a MS server,
try using the ISP. ISPs don't censor posts to a specific group.

First possibility is not what's happening.

Second possibility I don't understand. What does it mean to "try using the
ISP"?

I'm using the same newsgroup I've always used. I've even posted here before
without this problem.
I think some update may have changed a setting somewhere, or a registry key.
Could you elaborate
a little more on this second possibility?

And are there other possibilities that I can check?

Found this via a Google search. I'm posting it here to see if the
suggestion
worked.

The problem that you are experiencing is known and is being researched by
MS.

It is caused by the Communities Rating Feature, the one that allows you to
'Rate' an answer, when signed in.
It also puts the MVP logo to my posts.

You can continue using it, or disable it at tools>options>general.

Just in case anyone else pops along, also go to tools>options>read tab and
remove the checkmark from "get ### headers>apply/ok.

One more thing I did that I forgot to mention. I had put my own email domain
in my blocked senders list
because I was getting too much spam from myself. I removed that listing and
added myself to my safe
senders list. Both of those lists are in the Junk Mail Options.
