Im new to alot of things HELLLP!

I am downloading music on my pc and when I play them on real player or
windows media they play back a little fast and not normal... they aren't
really fast but faster than normal and a tad high pitched. I searched all
over in audio codecs and such but I cannot figure out how to make it right.
 
An earlier post stated it was cured on his sys when the sound driver was
updated, from the device manu.web site NOT winupdate.
