Just a quick note to say that I thought Half-Life 2 was not being released
until tomorrow but my Local Tesco's is selling it now, So get your arses
down there and get a copy.

Have fun with it sitting there on your hard drive for 15 hours. It
can't be activated until midnight pacific USA time.
 
Well just to say its not sitting on my drive at all, i was playing it a few
minutes ago just to see if it was gunna work.

Had it sitting on my HD awaiting activation for a month, why should I
go out in the cold to buy it?

Not only is it cold outside, but there are nasty Gremlins around every
corner. I only feel safe when I have my tin hat on, and I'm curled-up under
my desk.

No you weren't LIAR. HL2 won't work until the authentication servers at
Valve have been turned on.

You don't. The requirements on the box specify that an internet connection
is required...

What box? It's supposed to come with my video card and there were no
requirements there.
