I'm having problems to insert AVI movies (24 bits) with the PPT/2.

It is not working if I do "Insert", "Movies and sounds", "Movie from file" of
a digital movie provided by a camera. Only the "cartoon type" AVI works.

troubleshooting steps.

I'm not sure what the "'cartoon type' AVI" means, though. Is that an
animated GIF, maybe? If so, totally different animal than an AVI.
 
If it's from your digital camera, chances are you can rename it and give it a
file extension of MPG and it will work. At least it's worth a try. Let us
know.
