The message could not be sent. The authentication setting might not be
correct for your outgoing e-mail [SMTP] server. For help solving this
problem, go to Help, search for "Troubleshoot Windows Mail", and read the
"I'm having problems sending e-mail" section. If you need help determining
the proper server settings, please contact your e-mail service provider.

The rejected e-mail address was '(e-mail address removed)'. Subject 'XXXX',
Account: 'Alicja', Server: 'smtp.poczta.onet.pl', Protocol: SMTP, Server
Response: '501 5.1.3 User: (e-mail address removed) not found', Port: 25,
Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 501, Error Number: 0x800CCC79

Help!

I have forwarded your question to a Polish MVP.
In the meantime it looks like your server requires authentication?
Go to tools>accounts>select the account>properties>server tab>outgoing SMTP
select the box>For the settings button you will need to check with your ISP,
but try the top one first? Apply/OK your way out.
HTH?

This error is caused by your Anti Virus .

Disable the integration of your Anti Virus. Disabling the AV email scanning will not leave you unprotected. Your resident AV will still be protecting you

Are you using Norton or MacAfee by any chance. Sometimes you will need to uninstall your AV and re-install without the email integration

Is Onet.pl your home Internet service provider?
Were you sending from home when you got that error message,
or at some remote location with a laptop?

I don't read Polish very well, but I get the impression from here:
http://onetmail.onet.pl/
that the server name should be poczta.onet.pl instead of smtp.poczta.onet.pl.

I think smtp.poczta.onet.pl should work. I use this server and it's also
mentioned on http://poczta.onet.pl/autoryzacja/#outlook

The error message indicates that (e-mail address removed) is not valid. Don't
you have any problem with receiving mail? Are you sure you use the same
login credentials for sending (SMTP) and receiving (POP3)?
