I have now found that the date recorded on the received e-mail is 21
hours late.

For Example:
I send a e-mail to myself at 22:30
A few seconds later I recived my e-mail and it had the received
timestamp of 1:27am.
Does Outlook add this time stamp or does the e-mail server add this
time stamp?

Regards Brian

Tools -> Options -> Preferences tab -> Calendar -> Timezone.

The received time stamp is computed by Outlook. (It is the server than adds
the timestamps to the internet header and this is what Outlook bases it
decisions on in regards to received time.)

Yes, fix your system time. You are posting one day from the future ;-)

Well done Roady, I was already stressed because I though I lost a day
somewhere seeing the date of Brian's message.

Microsoft Outlook seems to be filtering the date that it will download
my e-mail. On Thurday I received my Wednesday e-mail. On Friday I'll
recive my Thurday e-mail etc.
Does anyone know what I can do to fix this problem?
I've checked the Outlook filter and can see no filter that would cause
this problem.
I'm using Microsoft Office Outlook 2003

Hoping for a reply

It's Friday already?!! Crap!!! I forgot to take out the trash last night
for today's pickup. Oh, wait, it still is Thursday - the 18th (not the
19th). I'm in the -0500 timezone and you are in the -800 timezone so
you are not across the dateline. Since you are using Outlook,
presumably you are also using Windows. See that clock in the lower
right corner? Double-click on it to correct your time.

My time zone was set to the wrong zone.

Well you got the date right now but are now 6 years ahead of us. Are cars
flying already? :-)
