I've discovered smoking too much weed will just make me want to play guitar
all night but when I only have two puffs I can still run Visual Studio just
fine but still there is no Intellisense for rap and I never really wanted to
pretend I was a negro anyway.

Please don't start a thread about whatever personal opinion of you in the
newgroups.
As you have the idea that there is some abuse, then write that to the
newsgroup administrator.

I didn't start this thread. Also, commenting back to a user that is
innapropriately using the NG is not at all inappropriate.

I should note that you, yourself have been involved in many threads over the
years that dealt with the way someone was using the NG.

As I read your message I get the idea that you put one person above or
beneath somebody else simple because of the fact of his skin.

The operson you told who was writting rasicme was only telling what he was
not. In the same way I could write I am not from New York.

In the way you replied it is racisime to write that.

and that is the statement that is racist. I didn't say that, Roach did.
That is the statement that I replied to and said that has no place in these
forums.

I made no comment at all about anyone's skin color and I can't imagine
anyone defending that comment from Roach as NOT being a racist comment.

For me a negro is not something bad, it is something the same as being from
New York or from Amsterdam (like me) or whatever.

To you it may not be offensive, but to others it is VERY offensive. In
American cultue, using that word is generally considered to be not
appropriate.

The point that I don't think you get is that Roach made race an issue when
it had nothing to do with the the, admittidely, off-topic, OP. There was no
reason to bring that up and by doing so, his comment is clearly offensive.

You said that you thought I put one person above or below someone else
because of the color of that person's skin and that is exactly the opposite
of what I'm saying. I'm saying that Roach should not have brought skin
color into the thread at all, and by doing so, his comment is racist.

I see your point of view, I don't know the American culture, you don't know
mine, so let us close the discussion.

Although we don't know where Roach is from so it will forever be a question
what it was.
