First, thanks in advance for any assistance you can give
me with this problem
When I try to start outlook express I get a message
saying:
"This program has performed an illegal operation &
will be shut down"
After pressing details I get:
"MSIMN caused an invalid page fault in module
MSOE.dll at 016f:007c5c01".....etc
I went to the outlook pages at Microsoft and followed
the directions there and still have the same problem. The
site tells me to check the properties on all the dbx files
and make sure that the read-only box is not checked. If
it is I am to uncheck the box, click apply and then
close.
I checked all the dbx files and sure enough the read-
only box was checked on all of them. I cleared the box
the way I was told and tried to open outlook and got the
same message. When I checked the properties again I found
that the "folders.dbx" file had the read-only box checked
again. I un checked it and tried to open outlook and got
the same message. Lo and behold the read-only box was
checked again. Any time I try to open outlook I get the
same error message and it somehow checks the read-only box
on the folders.dbx file. That is the only one that gets
changed. All the rest stay unchecked.
Any solutions??
Thanks
Glenn
