Hi,

I am getting an error stating "this has performed an
illegal operation will be shut down message" with ie6.
This has been happening for about 2 weeks now. The
details of the problem is as follows:

IEXPLORE caused a general protection fault
in module USER.EXE at 0003:00001022.

Does this mean anything to anyone? What is my best course
of action to fix this?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Dave

Cannot launch IE, however, I can launch Outlook Express, which leads me to
think that the problem is only with IE6.
Solved the problem. It was apparently caused by the free popup stopper
supplied by my ISP. Just deleted the popup stopper and everything is up and
running.
