Hi, all.
We have one PC for which one file will cause Excel to
display an "illegal operation" error and close.
Other PCs can use this file.
This PC can use other Excel files.
We have removed Office-97, scrubbed the registry and re-
installed Office-97 (with re-boots in between).
Still same problem.
I don't see anything particularly interesting about the
file. It is on a network drive (although we tried moving
it to the C: drive and still had the same problem) and has
several Tabs with data.
Any suggestions? Has anyone seen this before?
Unless I find an better fix, our next step is to scrub the
HD and re-install the O/S...
