ikernal error

i have had problems with viruses on my computer so have
had to format now i have reloaded xp pro and when i have
tried to load my graphix card i get a ikernal cant load
memory error does this mean i have a virus in the ram or
a virus my computer hasnt picked up. and how can i fix
this. any help would be great
